Two new projects supporting Londoners with housing issues

In November 2022, we started two new, two-year projects for London-based community groups supporting people with housing issues.

The first project, Supporting private renters through the cost of living crisis, will integrate on and offline help to help vulnerable renters understand housing and homelessness law in the context of pandemic and cost of living crisis; and identify ways to achieve change through legal /nonlegal mechanisms. This project is kindly funded by Trust for London. You can find out more about that project here: https://www.advicenow.org.uk/lawforlife/supporting-private-renters-durin...

The second project, Improving access to information and understanding of the legal rights of Londeners living in temporary accommodation, will be delivered in partnership with the Public Interest Law Centre (PILC). This project will explore some of the main issues and barriers that people face along the legal journey from homelessness to temporary accommodation to (hopefully) secure housing. It will include workshops and information resoures to help people support others through this housing process. This project is kindly funded by Trust for London and the Oak Foundation.
